Natures Harmony Industries Sdn Bhd (643013-M), or NHI, is an upcoming Malaysian based provider of cutting-edge biodegradable packaging solutions primarily designed to meet the demanding requirements of the food industry.

Incorporated in February 2004, NHI is poised to embark on its maiden project to commercialise a Malaysian Patent for manufacturing environmental friendly, disposable and fully biodegradable tapioca (cassava plant) based food/beverage serving containers and customised packaging materials using natural polymer technology.

-	Our product passed the Sirim* Test on Biodegradation The food container is readily biodegradable by the current OECD 301C-MITI test method. The percentage of biodegradation of the food container measured by Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD) is 89.3% after 7 days incubation and completely degraded at standardised period of 28 days. The test was conducted at two sets of temperature; 25†C and 30†C. * Sirim is an independent testing body in Malaysia.
